92 300SL Outside Temperature Dash Light
I've had by SL sitting in the garage all winter. Now that it's out, I have a few things to fix. The outside air temp. readout on the instrument cluster is very dim, almost unreadable. I have had the cluster out before, so I know how to do that. I remember looking at the back of the cluster, but I don't recall seeing an obvious "light bulb" for the temp sensor. Can someone walk me through that process?
Thanks, Steve |

There are two lamps in there mounted via solder leads to a printed circuit board. The board slides out on some "rails". But of course, you have to have the cluster out first. The lamps are 12Volts wire leads and you can get them at Radio Shack.
