'87 560sl top replacement

Need a new top since its the original and has some tears! I live in Connecticut and would appreciate any experience/advice someone could give me on a reputable and resonably priced shop that could replace one of these in Southern New England?

Thanks,

Steve

I just ordered one today from Germanex improrts. They seemed very helpful and knoledgable on the phone. The one I ordered is a black on black made from german canvas and cost $350. I plan to install it my self, they emailed me detailed directions as part of my order. I also plan to order new leather seat covers from them.

I know a guy in North Haven that can do this. He did my door panels 3 years ago and they came out real nice. He wanted $750 for the top back then, its probably a bit more today.

PM me if interested

KCM,

Watched the video and they make it look almost easy. Seems like a lot of labor hours to remove the glue but I'm good with grunt work. Not sure why they removed and then re-installed the top frame when all the glue hadn't been removed yet?
