OK how do you pull an R107 soft top down?

I managed to get the back part up but I cannot seem to fold the center piece (section right above your head when you sit). What's the process?

Do you mean - How do you fold an SL soft top?

Only lift the back enough to open the boot. Then you just lift the front part up and give the bow above your head a little push to get it going the right way (an elastic is supposed to help do this) This link has folding info:

Just a wild guess here, but one of the bows has a tendency to start folding the wrong way and won't allow the top to fold back. If you simply help it to start the other way it works fine. I believe that's the intention of having the elastic to start it correctly, but it fails over time.

Then again that may not be what you're asking about in which case, never mind...
