high beam headlights

79 450sl high beam headlights do not come on. All others work fine. High beam indicator on dash also does not come on. I searched here but could not find any similar posts. Checks fuses they seem fine. Any tips and where to check next/likely cause of failure much appreciated.

Perhaps the bulbs are burnt out? Check the voltage at high beam connector. No 12v, no lights. 12v present, bulbs burnt.

seems I had this issue and I found a connection loose under the wishield washer resevior, mine is a 72 so may not be the same
