Just had mine replaced by my indy. It is definitely NOT a DYI job. Very difficult position on back side of engine above transmission. A lift is required.
Cost to me: $175.00 parts + $75.00 labor + Tax = $263.00.

DAMN cherry hell indy shops! Anywahy thanks for the info. I think i will shop it around I would LOVE to save 250! PUT IT INTO MODS!

would this set off the check engine light if it was bad???

Absolutely. That is how I realized it was bad. The Check Engine light came on. I took it to my indy and he did a fault code check. I think it was ten blinks of the little red light that indicated a failed TDC Sensor.
