Hello,

I'm doing some research for my father-in-law. He has a 1997 SL 600, and the transmission has died. He is hoping to find a used transmission and was wondering if the transmission in the 600 is the same as the transmission found in the 500.

Yes if the SL600 is 96 or later and he will have to get the trans controller with the transmission.
