New to Me 500SL
I have not posted this on this forum. Members of another forum will recognize it. 1984 500SL AMG. Needs the following which I have already started on.
1. Rear brake cylinders pads etc. 2. Exhaust system. Already received the stock manifold pipes and balancer so the cats and AIR pump can go. 3. Odometer gears. Done. 4. Last and not least. Fuel system. Replace fuel filter and all new hoses and go from there. As far as I have been able to discover the AMG modifications include the body kit, suspension, LS differential, steering wheel and paint. No evidence of engine modification. Oh and the AMG wheels. http://s143.photobucket.com/albums/r151/bergxu/AMG%20500SL/?track=share_email_album_view_click |

THe paint does need touch up in places. I don't know how they got it to adhere to the rubber inserts so well but the inserts still look really good as do the bumpers.

Did the AMG papers that got thrown out by the car detailer before you took delivery ever turn up?

Thanks for reminding me. Some of the papers have been located and are on the way to me. Can't wait to see what is there. Described as literature and AMG price list and some other papers. Receipts and such.
