Leaking/Gusher Convertible Cylinder!! 96 SL500

Well, it finally happen. I have a 96 SL500 with 61,000 miles. Last year it was the locking cylinders. Put the top down the other day and my wife noticed hydraulic fluid gushing from under the rear left wheel well.

Took to independent today. Raised the top to get the rear ledge to open. One of the square looking cylinders on the top-right side was gushing out fluid. Also a smaller cylinder on both the left and right side was seeping out fluid.

Question: I am not skilled at rebuilding these cylinders so I probably need to buy replacements.

Can anyone give me the name of a parts company where I can order the appropriate cylinders-either rebuild or new.

Thanks

Unfortunately, it is not the front cylinders that are leaking. It the ones under the back over. The ones that put the top up or down.

Contact Dennis Ficken at mercedescylinders@sbcglobal.net He rebuilds the cylinders at a great price and gives a 3 year guarantee on his work.
