Just completed a road trip from north wales to london about 600 miles in all, car ran perfectly except whilst in london in the middle of a rain storm my wipers stopped working. Would work perhaps one out of 5 times only if i pressed the screen wash button and only for one swipe or sometimes half a swipe. Also at this time red SRS light came on and was kind of flickering. scary as on busy road dark and v heavy rain. pulled over after a couple of nightmarish miles when got a lay bye. switched off engine. when restarted worked fine for next 300 miles of journey and since back home last week. any views once off ghost in the machine? input appreciated..

Sounds like you got a water leak into the relay or fuse compartments.

Cheers interesting info there. Wondering if would explain the whole package of warning light i got etc . Would seem like a relatively painless solution. K26 seems available for 99 euros. tempted to just change the K26 alright or maybe wait for next time? Thanks
