Remove the metal trim piece below the headlight. Remove the screws on the headlight frame. Pull the headlight assembly out forward. Entire assembly, including side marker light comes out.

Can't you just change the bulb--this surely doesn't require removing entire headlight.

Nope. You have to remove the assembly.

Further to Rowdie's comprehensive instructions here are additional tips.

1. Remove the headlight’s wipers

2. Loosen the two fastening screws (2) of cover plate (1). Lift cover plate (1) inside, push slightly outwards and remove.

3. Loosen all three fastening screws (5). Push light unit slightly downwards and swivel in outward direction.

Note: To swivel headlamp unit, the bumper may require loosening in some models and pushing slightly downwards.

Pull off electric plug connection at the rear.

3 Adjusting screw for lateral adjustment
4 Adjusting screw for height adjustment
5 Fastening screws for headlamp unit
