450sl Rear transmission seal
My rear transmission ...seal blew out 3 weeks ago...towed it to the shop...new one installed....5 miles down the road she blew again...It is the proper seal per numbers on tranny....ANY CLUES?

Sorry I can only think of the obvious - correct oil, correct oil level, dirt, too much wear / movement on the shaft that you are trying to seal. Are these seals tricky to fit?
