AMG/RIAL Rims
I bought a set of Rial rims from an AMG 107. I watched them take them off the car. The rears are 8J x 16's with an ET 11 offset and had 225/55-16 tires.
There is no way they will fit my 107. It would take on offset of at least 20-25 for the tire to clear the wheel well edge. Did AMG widen the wheel well on theirs?? Both sides are the same so I have eliminated an accident pushing it in. Any comments appreciated. |

As I have been collecting rims for a 107 myself, I have discovered that yes, AMG DID roll the wheel well to accommodate their rims. If you want to sell them, please post or send me a photo of the rims, because I might be able to use them on something else. I would also need the total tire diameter. Thanks

Thanks for the info. I have about $800 invested in these (purchase price, polishing and powder coating) and 2 years time to find them so I plan to keep them. Will probably have the rear wells radiussed (see thumbnail). Always loved that look but couldn't justify the expense, now I can.
