'95 sl500 HELP tracing blue/red strip vacuum line
Help Please. While changing my starter/alternator wiring harness today, I did not notice that a vacuum line became disconnected and for the life of me I cannot trace where it is supposed to go on the engine or some other component. This is a blue vacuum plastic line with a red stripe. It originates on the inside passengerside fenderwell and it is attached to an array (block) of other vacuum hoses going to the top of the intake manifold on the motor. I noticed that it was hanging by itself when I removed this wiring harness as it passed down under the motor. This blue vacuum line is short and the terminal end has a "rubber sleeve" on the end which indicates to me that there is a component nearby that requires vacuum. Anyone have a mid-90's SL that can look to see where this line goes? Thanks, Steve

Please take some pictures of the hose and the surrounding area and I will attempt to help.

Is this any help?

Vacuum line connection found
The blue line with red stripe attaches to the air pump. Can not be seen easily without mirror, but by feel, it is located on the air pump. I found it and reattached the vacuum line and all is well.. Thanks to all who tried to solve my problem. Thank You, Steve
