idle

It takes my 85 380sl about 45 minutes after start up before it goes into low idle (600 rpm). Even after that it will go back and forth between low and warm up idle (1000 rpm) if I shut the car off for several minutes. ICU is new checked for vacuum leaks. Any ideas?
Thanks

Do a search on high idle, gotta be at least a 1000 threads on the subject. No sense beating a dead horse over and over and over again.
