Roof leaking on 91 500SL

I have a 91 500SL that when it rains, water will drip in at the corners of the
roof from both driver side and passenger side. This happens with the hard top and also with the soft top. It seams that the rubber sealing along the top of front windshield needs replacing.
Has anyone had this problem?
Is it easy to change?
Who would I order it from?
Any help would be immensely appreciated as this is driving me crazy.
Thanks!

You have to put some MB or similar sealing material under the corners.
Like the windshield sealer by 3M.

Regards.

leaking roof

Make sure that the corner drain holes are not clogged up and thus preventing
the water from draining off. The drain holes run down inside the A pillar to the
ground.

This is a common occurance

Hi, as mentioned above use a black sealant make sure its Poly U. and not silicone based. I would recomend "tiger seal". Pull back the rubber and inject sealant along area of leak with roof in raised position. Repositioning rubber and again closing roof will provide force to squeeze out excess. excess should be wiped away with white spirit soaked lint free cloth, this will give you a perfect result, white spirit is important as if allowed dry it will require a scalpel to remove excess.
