Oil film

The (1) bell-shaped, change-over valve, (2) coil cover, (3) top of the intake funnel of the air filter housing, and (4) vacuum lines on the left side of the engine compartment of my 380sl keep getting coated with oil, and I've been trying to find out where it's coming from.

I originally suspected that it must be power steering fluid coming from a leaky pump seal, but it's definitely engine oil, not power steering fluid. So I then suspected that the serpentine belt was spraying the area with oil from a leaky front, main seal, but the belt is dry, and I recently replaced that seal.

I was therefore wondering if anybody out there has seen anything like this, and/or what the problem was.

Thanks in advance.
