replacing speaker cover in dash

hello

does anyone know where can I can find a replacement cover for the right side radio speaker which faces the passenger on a 1987 560SL? The upper left corner is loose and will not fit slush with the rest of the dash.

thanks

dom chang

ps: failing this, I guess I could try adhesives but at a last resort, it appears as if the metal clip in back of the cover has broken off.

Speaker Grille Clip

Dom: You shouldn't have to buy a cover--just the metal clip. I've had this cover off several times and it has 2 metal clips that hold the top half of the grille flush. The bottom is held in place with 2 small phillips screws. Once the screws are removed, you just pull the bottom part of the grille out about an inch and then slide the entire grille downward. The metal clips will come off with the grille cover. Sounds like one of your clips has come loose and you will probably find it behind the grille. To reinstall, place the clip securely on the grille cover. Next, press the top portion of the grille flush against the dash and then slide it upward. May take several tries to get both clips to catch. You can bend the ends of the clips slightly to make it easier to catch. Replace screws and you're done. John Downey
