Trans Bolt Torque Spec? Procedure?
CD Rom is misplaced and although I did this job 30,000 miles ago I have forgotten...
What is the torque spec for the Trans Pan bolt? What is the torque spec for the Trans Pan Dain Plug? What is the torque spec for the Torque Converter Dain Plug? Fluid amount for 107047 chassis, trans 722 i think? Lower exhaust, drain fluid trans and torque converter, remove pan, change filter, Re-Torque all fasteners, add fluid, raise exaust, run to hot, fill to capacity. Forgotten anything? Thanks all, Steve

I found the CD... It doesn't tell you to remove a heat sheild, then the trans cover (even though you do) but the manual says:
Remove trans drain plug, Turn crank to line up bolt on torque converter and pull the plug. Remove the drain pan, clean it (surgical clean and lint-free cloth only. Use an old chamois.) Change teh filter. Put the pan back. Add 4 liters. Start the car and add the rest of the fluid. Correct fluid level. Trans Drain Plug: 14 nm torque converter drain plug: 14 nm Trans pan bolts: 8 nm (722.3 Trans) 722.3 fill 8.90 liters empty (by menory) This is not everything you need to know to do the job but here are the basics. The specs are a little different for different models/years.
