Side marker lens now
Will a side marker lens from a 450SL fit an 88 560SL?
From the pictures I have seen, they look the same, but cannot tell the size of course. If they are different, is there any way to tell the which is which? I am not the original owner of the car so I do know what I really have. Thanks. Jl

I've got a 73 450SL next to an 85 380SL, and they look the same. USA versions, anyway...

They should, I am unaware of , other than bumpers , much change in the w107 body

It's the same part, but I've noticed that the colors embedded in the plastic seem to fade over time. So, if you look at a "new" marker vs a 20 year old one vs a 30 year old one, you will notice a color difference. Because you can't really see them both at once, this probably doesn't matter. However, if you mix and match tail light lenses, this might be a problem.
