SRS light on my 1990 300 SL - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

Just this week I noticed that my SRS light was staying on for a few minutes instead of going out in a matter of seconds. It seemed to coincide with a drop in the temperature, but that might just be a coincidence. I looked through the archives and it would seem that this could be cause by low voltage, a bad seat belt catch or a bad slip ring. Any thoughts on which it might be? How much should I worry about the light taking a few minutes to go out?

Same symtoms on my '94 SL 320. Any insights yet?

In my case, it turned out to be a control module for the airbag and seatbelt. As I recall, this was an expensive repair.
