dash warning lights all on
Took a short trip to the market yesterday afternoon in my 87 560; everything was fine. Two hours later I left to go out and all the warning lights on the dash were on and stayed on until I shut the car off. Now (this morning) the lights still stayed on when I took a drive and now the battery is run down. Fuse? Relay? What gives?

Battery run down meaning it won't start it's so weak, or just barely started?
To start with you might want to see if the alternator belt is still present and if the battery connections are tight. How old is the battery? Gilly |
Might be the voltage regulator too.

sounds like a short , that is causing the drain, either on dashpod, radio , or other , working on anything in the car prior to this event?
