Self Leveling Suspension
I have a stupid question that I hope someone on this great forum can help me with. I recently purchased a 1999 SL 500 and wanted to lower it but was told that if I had a self leveling suspension, I would not be able to do it without a lot of modifications to the system. Anyways, my question is how do I know if I have the self leveling suspension?
Thanks for your help. |

the self levelling suspension comes with a switch on the center console and a control light in the panel round the light switch...
this is the (self-levelling) sensor that is to be found at the front of the car: It is mounted on the passenger side just behind the swaybar... greetingz,
