MAP Adj: What's Wrong w/ Mine?

Hey Guys,

I'm trying to tune in my 350SL that's running a bit rich (+/-5% CO). Here's what my MAP looks like:

The silver ring inside the epoxy ring is a cut to fit a hex tool theoretically making it the "outer screw" that you're not supposed to adjust?

However, there is no "inner screw" inside of that.

So, does this type of MAP adjust via this hex screw instead of a flat head screw??

Ok. Having read THIS more thoroughly, ignore the part about not adjusting the outer screw, but I still don't see an inner screw. Anyone else's MAP look like mine?

yes , normal look, inner hex is the adjustment, the other is under the epoxy on yours
IMPORTANT, very little movement of the adjusting screw makes a huge change.
Clockwise leans

Thanks melted! That was what I was hoping for. I'm not going to mess with it until I get a new temp sensor in and see if that idle lope is from that or the points...
