retourqing head bolts

Further to my recent tech forum post, I seem to have a small leak from a head gasket in my 73 450 sl. Has anyone had any luck with retourqing the head bolts to fix this? I think some of the newer engines won't allow for this, but i think the 450 engine might.

once in a rare while retorking the head will work. The best solution is to pull the head put a straight edge on it than get a new gasket and reinstall.
