1986 300 SL Euro Part Numbers

I have a 1986 300 Sl Euro and am always having problems matching parts with US MB's. The only SL made sold in 86 in the US was a 560 SL. How do I find the correct parts for this car in the US. I believe the chassis parts IE brakes etc. for the 300 SL and 560SL are the same.

Yes indeedy. Everything is pretty much the same except for the drive train.

But that drive train can be found in some of the other Mercedes offerings.

This engine can be found in the W124 E-Class, W126 S-Class Mercedes-Benz R129, W463 G-Class and the R107.
