82 380SL - Fuel Damper Vacuum Hose

Just finishing up checking/ replacing all my vacuum lines on my wife's 82 380SL. My one question that I can't find anywhere in the manual is where does the small (3mm?) vacuum line that exits the bottom of the fuel damper tie into? or does it just vent to atmosphere? The fuel damper is located underneath the air filter, inline with the fuel frequency valve.

Any help or pictures are appreciated.

Starting sept 81 (production date) the fuel pressure damper was replaced by an extended tecalan element pipe (item 6) but your seems to retain the pressure damper and the venting vacuum pipe (item 9) connects to the countour hose for venting at righthand rocker cover (item 3). From 1982 the connection niple on the venting hose (item 3a) was blocked with a MB plug.
Hope it helps.

That's it! Thanks for the reply. I got my new valve cover hoses and got the damper hose tied in.
