95 sl500 fuel line question.

The line from the filter to the pump on my sl 500 has now split twice in about 100 miles. It appears to be split from overpressure. The line is standard lor pressure fuel line that slides over a nipple on the filter and is secured with a hose clamp. This is not the filter with the threaded ends.

I had no problems until I replaced the filter and the lines.

Is there supposed to be a higher pressure rated hose on this or is there some other problem?
Thanks!

Make sure you replaced hose with fuel injection hose. There are 2 kinds.High high pressure standard fuel inj. hose and carb hose
There almost a 100 psi back there. I go to N.A.P.A. for fuel lines
