1986 560 sl

I'm looking at a 1986 560 sl with 66K on the clock. The car only had two owners and is 100% with two tops, the dealer wants 9K. Is there anything i need to look for before i buy this thing? is 9K right for a car in 100%condition with 66K miles?
thanks

Here are a couple of pictures. How much would it cost to change the dash gauges to standard? everything is metric right now.

You might want to check out this thread here: http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/sl-forum/307445-r107-instrument-cluster-modification.html

It's the one I referenced in The Other Forum.

Sounds like a great buy - My 300Sl ( UK Euro ) is worth 18k (UK Pounds that is) so 9k dollars sounds really really really cheap
Happy Motoring
