1973 Fuel Control Unit

I have a 1973 Mercedes 450sl roadster. Does anyone know where the fuel control unit is located?

Exactly what do you mean by 'fuel control unit'? The fuel pump relay is behind a panel, above the fuse box, at the right side of the Passenger (U.S.) side foot well.

The ECU (Engine Control Unit) is on the firewall, inside the car, roughly behind the glove box (U.S. passenger side).

Hope this helps

OK Jim - serious brain fart --lets try
looking under the car, from the back - it is located just to the left of the passenger rear tire , buzzes ( most of the time when working)

Haha - you dont miss a beat do you Jim ...lov it

I thought it was funny. I could see pulling the bulk head panel to search for it. If it was there you would really be able to hear that is was working.
