vacuum pump location on 1982 380sl

Hi folks -- a relatively new 380sl owner needs a bit of advice. Just getting acquainted with the car, an unmolested 380sl from CA. Only a few issues, but one that needs to be addressed is that of door, trunk, and gas door locks not operative. I am thinking it might be the vacuum pump, but need to know where it is? Any help to locate would be most appreciated!

It does not have one. Only '86 up have the pump.
