Power Window switch on an R129
My power window switch on the driver's side just dropped down in the consol. What is the easiest way to get to this? Does the entire wooden piece have to be removed.? Can someone help walk me through this? Thanks

Since nobody has any ideas...
I would say you have to remove the wood. Not difficult at all. I performed this last summer and made the following notes to myself at the time:
· Remove radio and ACC unit. · Remove insert from the storage area under radio. Do this buy removing screw and folding in the sides along a 45-degree line. It’s fussy, but the insert can be gotten out. · Remove two screws revealed by the removal of the insert. I think then you lift the end at the shifter upward and slide the entire piece downward. Good Luck |
