Yes, I put 16x8 et 11 with 245 50 16 on my 79 280sl. Had to roll the fenders a bit so you should have no problem.

What are the rims off of? I'm patiently looking and waiting for a set of 16 rims. Most have large offsets... up to ET51

He only said they are AMG. The guy had them on his BMW. I have no idea what originally they came on. I ended up picking the wheels up. They are BBS with black paint in the criss-cross area. I will likely get them on around Christmas. I'll put them under the tree.

My AMG 16x8 ET11 ATS wheels use the standard ball seat lug bolts.

wrong bolt pattern

Does the AMG wheel have a different bolt hole pattern. It says 112 et11 on the wheel but they don't fit. ill have to measure later. Im very upset at this point. Of course the guy wont take them back. I should have known if they were on BMW they wouldn't fit. The wheels dont say AMG anywhere.
I was sure the 112 et11 meant a 112 bolt pattern. guess i was wrong these are not mercedes wheels
Bummer. Now I have to sell them. I was looking forward to seeing them on the r107.

All Mercedes R/C 107 wheels regardless of size have a 5x112 bolt pattern, including the AMG. Are these by chance 5 spoke wheels similar to the AMG? If so they may be Ronal R9 that were made in even Chevy bolt patterns.

I'm pretty sure they are just bbs wheels for BMW. I should have done a better verification. I'm feeling pretty stupid right now. I should have measured.

That's too bad. I thought that BMW were same as MB (like Audi.VW) but I see they are 5x120.

This site has a reverse lookup. Might help in finding cars that the rims will fit.

Car Rims - Find Vehicles to Fit Your Rims | My Bolt Pattern

Seems like quite a number or cars used that bolt pattern.
