Question heater control levers 72 450sl

Anyone know where I can buy replacement plastic levers for the heater and vent controls? Pelican no longer carries them but said they could order them from Mercedes Benz. Scares me to think what their price might be. Any help appreciated.

There are a number of options I can think of
  • Call the local MB dealer for price and availability
  • Check the junk yards
  • Check eBay
  • 3D print some
  • Check the MB dealership that does discount mail order
  • Post in the For Sale/WTB section

There's probably more and I'm sure others will chime in

Thanks for getting back to me. I need all four of them. So far no luck with junkyards. Haven't found a yard in Kansas City that have any early 107s. I don't want to clean out your stash but let me know how many you have and what you need for them. I'm still looking for any online sources and went through all the eBay ads last night. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks.

Wink

I ended up calling the MB Classic Center and getting them for $10 each plus shipping and handling and local state tax. They had to order them in from someplace and I don't have them yet but not as expensive as I had thought.

Tom Hanson and crew (Classic Center) are great to work with. MB prices are not always extreme.
