Can you be more specific? Key won't turn , button won't push , power lock not working?

Search the site a bit, others have posted solutions.

I just went thru this a few weeks back. DO NOT drill thru the body and do not break the tail light. If you are completely locked out there is a post on this site that gives you instructions to open the trunk with out key or power.

Thank you both for your responses, the central lock does not work , the key turns but does not unlock. Tim have you got a link by any chance I have tried to search for the solutions but could not see anything relevant to my car type .
I suspect the rod has came off from the lock mechanism ...Is there anyway getting to it through the licence plate light ? if you know please let me know. Thank you

Just so we are talking about the same thing, you need to turn the key then press the button. ( The "Button" is where you put the key in ) There are 3 positions try all 3.

Bump...having a stuck trunk issue and need any help on this one. Tried the modified screwdriver method through the passenger license plate lens and the rod is still engaged so there's no room to slide the head of the driver in to the cylinder to rotate the release. Full battery and the keyless trunk open/dash mounted release buttons power the pump but nothing releases. I've tried everything from pushing down on the lid, etc. I can feel the 'release' rod slightly rotate a little when the trunk release button is pressed but it's not enough to pop the latch loose. Any help would be greatly appreciated...I'm out of options and am trying to brainstorm any next steps to access it. Thanks!

Trunk open! Valet lock keeps engaging when the lid closes. Need to keep turning to key position 11:00 and manually opening. Will keep playing around...

I have this problem as well.
I locked the trunk separate of the rest of the car so the central locking will not unlock the trunk lid

I used the key and locked the trunk lock to 15 past clockwise (trunk lid locked and must be unlocked using the key)

I hope that if i am able to insert the "tool" i will be able to turn it so the lock opens even if the trunk lid is locked seperate on the car so the only way to open the trunk lid is to unlock the tunk lid lock using the key

The problem is that the trunk lock cylinder/thumbler will not turn using the key whatever i try to do.

The rod that goes in to the latch / catch on the trunk lid sit in place and i can not see any room where i can use the tool to insert since the rod is inn the way

On my car there is black plastic where the rod goes and i do not have the recess on the sides where the rod goes as shown on the picture with the "tool" inserted in the lock

See the pictures below
