Howdy everyone. New To the MB group.

Just wanted to say hi. My dad and I started working on my first Mercedes '84 450SL Roadster. It has been a pretty much frame up restoration. My dad has been learning how to do restores over the years, and until recently I had no time as I was in college. Now I'm out and im sure to be posting all kinds of pictures and broken knucles and empty beer cans. Wanted to take a pole here, what company would you guys recommend for parts, we have used both https://adsitco.com or Mercedes Benz Parts, Accessories & Performance Parts | CarParts.com? My dad has used them both and I am kind of taking over the buying of the parts for the project. If you guys have any recommendations I would appreciate it. I am looking for a reliable Company with good products and decent prices. Thanks yall!

Steve

Welcome to the Peach community Steve! And good luck with the roadster. All sorts of sources for parts to choose from and if you'd like, browse our catalog too, Pelican Parts for Mercedes

Create a project thread and post some pictures when you get a chance!

First Pelican. Then sometimes the dealer. Usually pelican has the dealer part cheaper. Like head gasket i believe.

They ship quick, they are honest about not being in stock, they are great with returns and warranties, and they are selective on what brands they carry. You will see them carry one part in a particular brand, and not another.

They seem to know their stuff.

People talk about other places being cheaper, and slow, and crappy customer service.

Pelican owns this site and forks the bill. I dont think anyone will say anything else. Lol.

But thats my opinion. Oh, plus im close to them so it comes quick.

Welcome.
Im a big ebayer so I disagree with Lucas as nice a guy as he is.
Ive bought parts for four different MB's ... D's, E's and an SD.
Doing so has saved thousands.
