I did some investigations recently for the expansion tank

Cocking about trying to clean an expansion tank

I didn't find a solution for making things white though. There are some scary suggestions (if like me you're not a chemist) that might be of interest.

If I can find a new I will buy it. But this tank has not made for a long time
and they replaced it with a new one. I want to keep it with the original one

I don't think it would hurt to soak it in bleach overnight.

There is no reversal of the yellowing - live with it or buy new.

Yellow tank

I believe these tanks are made of polycarbonate and any kind of exposure to ultra violet causes them to yellow prematurely(look at street light lenses in older areas). Sheer age has the same eventual discoloring effect. While the yellowing is unsightly the main problem is that the poly also becomes very brittle and can crack easily under any kind of impact.
