1975 SLC Steering Wheel Removal

Hello Mercedes Drivers
Wanting to remove the Steering Wheel to Service the Cluster .
I am hearing that "
Your steering wheel is held in place by a big Allen head bolt that has locktite - if you go that route, heat the bolt then avoid turning heat the bolt it against the steering lock - (many have broken the steering lock and stripped the Allen head bolt trying to get it out.

Question's
(1) So I should Have the Key in the on position then so that the Steering Lock is " NOT ENGAGED " is this correct ?
(2) Must I indeed Heat this Allen Head Bolt ? and if so (1a) how much ?
(3) I hear a Constant Buzzing sound when the Turn signal Arm is engaged LEFT or RIGHT . All Bulbs / Wiring / Fuses Grounds are OK
I assume this is coming from the Turn Signal / Hazard Switch Flasher Mounted in a unknown Place behind the Cluster .

( A ) My Dash Lights don't work
( B ) Turn Signal Flasher does not work
( C ) Turn signal " Left " does not light up ( Bulb ? )

On your model the steering wheel is attach with a nut. About 22MM IIRC. Yes put the ignition in the unlock position. Place a 2x4 from the floor to the spokes on the left side of the steering wheel for support..

That is not a 107. On the 107 the steering wheel must be removed.
