560Sl cluster

I have an 87 560SL. Tachometer is dead and can't be fixed. Which clusters will fit this? I am guessing early 107 clusters won't fit, but I am having little luck finding one.

thanks
Fred Emmerich

No answers so thought I'd chime in. Looked on the Mercedes EPC and looks like it pretty much has to be a 107.048 (560SL) cluster from either Japan, USA, or Australia. For the tachometer itself, the 107.046 (500SL) and 107.047 (420SL) are the same. There of course are USA and metric versions of the speedometer.

Did you note whether there is a date range restriction on the 107.046 tachometer? I did the same and noted it in the Benzworld thread which is very similar, but forgot to check if there's a "from" in the part number for the 107.046. I wouldn't be surprised if it's only 86-89 models.

Sorry for no response. Don't go to the forum every day. Checked again and there is no date range. Looks to only fit 86-89 models as the earlier 380SL has a different part number for the tachometer. Did a reverse search on the part number and only fits the 107.046, 107.047, and 107.048 models.

If you are needing an Instrument Cluster, I'll sell you my spare one for $450.00.
It is in like new condition showing 26K miles. It came from a 1987 560SL.
