Replacing Shocks

I'm replacing all the shocks on my '92 500SL. I'm more interested in a good all around shock than a performance type, at this time. I have always used Sachs and Bilstein on all my other MB's but, I've never owned an R129.

Suggestions? Has anyone put the Bilstein B6 on their R129? How does it change the original ride and control?

Thanks....Wilton

Hi Wilton,

I've attached a link to our catalog where you'll be able to find several varieties of shocks for your SL. If you're going for comfort over performance, I would replace them with a new set of OEM Bilstein shocks. Best of luck!
