03 sl500 ABC light
20,000 mi SL obviously sits a lot.( 4 weeks) this time. right side is sitting lower than left side . appears to be the case front and rear. read about valve block leak down. i started the car let it run for 15min and the suspension did not lift. Any suggestions or am I facing replacement of valve blocks. Or am I on the wrong track? please help

You need to hit the button to raise the suspension (the on by the shifter). It should come right up. It's normal for the suspension to sink if the car has sat for a week or more. Make sure you have a trickle charger on the rear battery all the time , else you'll have a bear of a time getting it through inspection.

Is the ABC light currently on? Are you getting an ABC error message on the center console?
It is somewhat normal for the suspension system to sink if the car has been parked for a significant (week or two) time period. It should level itself up in a matter of seconds once the engine is started.

ABC is one of the most mis-diagnosed systems, IMHO, by DIY'ers........start by checking for visible ABC fluid leaks. If none are found I'd recommend having an SDS equipped shop check it out. It could be something as simple as a pressure sensor malfunction.
The valve block issue (debris not allowing the valves to fully close) can often be resolved by performing the ABC filtering procedure. You'll need two ABC filters, a minimal amount of fluid if any, and an SDS to actuate the "rodeo routine. Guessing what the problem is can be time consuming, expensive, and quite often, incorrect.
