450SL no electrics - Why?
1980 450SL has no lights, headlights, panel all indicators are out. Battery tested at 100%. What should I check or tap? This was entered on Tech, But no responses. Thanx in Advance, Roger

This happened to me once. Battery cable not tight. How old is your battery? Maybe try a different battery. Check your grounds....???????

Checked Battery ground (it's very tight), even parking lights don't come on. Battery is one year old and tests at 100% charged on my trickle charger. Anybody else have an idea?

thanx for you question MBurman! I found my charger was not accurately indicating the charge status. It was a discharged battery. The local MB dealer sent a mechanic out to give it a start. all is well now, I have a trickle charger on it. I had checked the fuses. We, in Idaho, lost our Composite Wing B-1s last month. They'd dropped 60% of the total ordance in Afganistan. Keep your head and butt down if you get involved . Roger

I'm glad you got your car fixed and thanks for the good wishes...
