r107 450 K Jetronic plate arm free move and blue plug

Hello

I have got two short questions :) I am trying to adjust fuel mixture in m117 with k-jetronic. I found that there isn't any clearance between plate arm and piston in fuel distributor. If I press plate I feel tension without few milimiters of free move like it is in m102/3 with KE-Jetronic. Thats my question, there should be some gap between arm and piston like in m102/3 engine? :)

Second thing, what is it with blue plug (similar like cold start injector) next to fuel distributor?

Thanks :-)

The blue connector is a safety switch so the fuel pump will not run unless the engine is running.

Fair warning, I just recently mucked with this same screw on my 380SL and found myself in a world of hurt.

I highly recommend you borrow an oscilloscope and use that to set the screw by reading the waveform that comes out of pin 3 on the diagnostic connector. I know it's verboten to link to other forums but this guide here will help you figure out how to properly adjust the screw using an o-scope:

Kjet (basic), and Kjet (Lambda) operate with the metering plunger in contact with the arm at all times.
Only KEjet has a gap at rest.

.

I'm working with 450 kjet without lambda control so I think o-scope will not work in this case ;-)
