280Sl (R107) replacement Top Options
I have a 1985 280SL that I'd like to replace Top. I want to go original as possible so have targeted the Sonnenland Tops. Does anyone have experience with AutoBerry or ARO2000 for sources?

Hello - Sonnesnland tops are high quality and well made. I've read positive reviews from people online. If you'd, please feel free to give us a call at 888-280-7799 and one of our MB part specialists can give you details. I've also included a link to our site's catalog with them below.

There is a very long thread on BW 107 Forum about replacing tops. Quite a few 107 owners (including me) replaced their own tops. Not a job for the faint of heart, but it can be done.
I went with the best quality fabric, but actually regret it. It is very stiff and the tops doesn't fold that well. It caught on the boot top edge seal and has worn it away. If I was to do this again, I might go with the lighter Stayfast.
