Seat Adjustment
As a recent new owner of a 1987 560 SL, I've been having trouble finding a comfortable setting for my front driver's seat. Fore and aft is fine, but the seat angle/rake seems kind of strange. The entire seat adjustment appears to be at the rear of the seat. There does not appear to be any way to raise or lower the front of the seat. The result, for me, is that I have very little support under my knees, and feel like I'm leaning forward a little. Since I know very little about the actual history of this car except that the previous owner claimed to have replaced the seats at one time, I don't know what is normal in the way of a seat adjustment.
Can anyone help me on this?
