Posts 11 and 12 have links to Craigslist ads in the original sellers area, $ 3,000 to $ 6,500 buys a complete car. Someone has a top for sale at $ 500 and that is still too much. _Every_ R129 came with a hard top so they are not rare.
If this removable hard top is so valuable, why would the OP devalue their car by his original asking price of $ 14,000 and now much did they pay for the car?
