1986 560sl - an unknown white Connector or Diode in front of radiator
I found a white connector or diode looking piece secured right beside the AC receiver/drier at the passenger side in front of the radiator. It seems broken or starting to break into pieces. I wanted to replace it before totally broken but didn't know what it is and/or what it is for?
Can someone please help to point it out what this white piece is? Thanks! |

It is the resistor that lowers the voltage giving the electric cooling fans a hi and low speed... Cooling fan resistor.
Good luck!!!
