1986 560sl Windshield Fluid Connection
 

There're two unknown pieces next to the windshield fluid hoses on both sides under the hood of my 1986 560sl. They seemed like a temperature probe sensor or something, but i have no idea of what they were for and where they were suppose to be connected to.I attached a photo here for reference and appreciate it if someone can help to point it out what they are? Thanks,

Those are the nozzle heaters. They should look like this.
