My 1986 560sl central locking system was no longer working and I tried to fix myself and found the problems were due to the connectors to those vacuum actuators. Due to the age and long exposure to the southern heat, those electrical connectors were totally broken and rusted. The original nylon connectors were broken into many pieces when I pulled the connectors off the actuators. Now I counted a problem to plug them back, as I forgot to note down the order of how those colored wires were connected to the actuators. There were three wires to each of the actuators (driver door, passenger door and trunk lid), I have (brown, redwhite, blue) for the driver door, (brown, redwhite, green) for the passenger door, and (brown, redwhite, yellow) for the trunk lid.
Can someone please tell me how those wires suppose to be connected back to the actuators? I noticed the old connectors used to have a flat edge. With that flat edge facing down, the three pins form a triangle. How are three colored wires going to the pins?
Mant thanks!
