My new 95 SL 500
I've been working on this car since I drove it home from near Erie. 68,000 miles and all the usual issues. Beautiful condition though (see my gallery). I recently installed a new hood pad, a Kenwood touch screen radio and most importantly - a CFS all aluminum radiator. Someone mixed green coolant in it at the lot I bought it from. I made it home but not much further. After about 20 full flushes and a new thermostat, I gave up and spent the money. Best thing I ever did. The rad is a work of art and was a clean install. Since so many of us have this problem, I wondered if anyone would like to see the pics of the install or even the hood mat install. The way I did it seemed far easier than some of the videos I watched about it. I always document the work I do with pictures anyway. I'm still dealing with the ABS light/top not working until I clear the code issue and now the blinking dash light and alternator issue. The wiring on these cars suck.
