Need help with motor identification and wheel advice 107
Please help should be euro 350SL motor but cannot find anything online to decode this head info?
Thanks for any info image hosting Also is it worth restoring these wire wheels 14 inch. Neat hub attachments, but a pain to hammer on and off ! I was told its cheaper to just buy new wheels? Dayton wheels quoted me insane amount like $650 each and $150 for aftermarket spinners! I really am not excited about putting 14 inch rims on a 560? |

As far as I know that is just a casting number on the head. Those wheels won't fit the front of a 560SL without spacers to clear the calipers. IMO too much trouble for little if any value.

The engine identification is stamped into the top surface of the cylinder block directly behind the left cylinder head. The pictured number is indeed a casting number. |
